2007 Man Booker Prize Shortlist Possibles
Post-christmas is always the best time to start this list: the compilations of upcoming books are printed, and
it's time to just sit back and contemplate fiction again for a while.
Be aware that these are my suggestions. Sometimes I get the publication date wrong or I'm confused as to the
nationality of the author, in which case the books listed won't be eligible. Keep that in mind.
Wayne Terwilliger, of the University of Virginia Bookshop, has sent through some suggestions again. This year
he's pointed out novels by Haddon, Hope, Ondaatje, Raban and Woodward; for which many thanks.
