2006 Man Booker Prize Shortlist Possibles
We're starting to see a few people making suggestions for what will be considered this year. Estimates so far
are for 150 novels to be entered.
Thanks to Wayne Terwilliger of the University of Virginia Bookstore for the suggestion to include the Alan
Warner novel, which, for some reason, I thought was a non-fiction work; and also for the suggestion of the
Michael Collins.
Be aware that these are my suggestions. Sometimes I get the publication date wrong or I'm confused as to the
nationality of the author, in which case the books listed won't be eligible. Keep that in mind.
