2005 Man Booker Prize Shortlist Possibles
Once more into the breach, dear friends, with my annual list of novels that might be considered for the
Booker Long/Short lists.
Long-time reader of these pages, Wayne Terwilliger from the University of Virginia Bookstore, has recommended
the Barry, the Jacobson and the Miller. For which my thanks.
I've decided to include The White Earth by Andrew McGahan on the list this year with no idea of whether
it is actually eligible.
The Longlist will be released on August 10th and the winner announced on October 10th.
