![]() Letter by Thomas C. Lothian to CJD 1933.09.19
C.J. Dennis, Esq.,Toolangi, Dear Mr. Dennis, I suggest that the time is ripe for another volume of poems from your pen, a selection could be made from the verses which have been appearing regularly in "The Herald" during the last few years, and no doubt you have many others you would like to be included in a volume. If my suggestion has your approval, I may say at once that we shall be prepared to publish the book on the usual 10% royalty on published price, whatever it may be. You may remember some years ago I had the pleasure of meeting you several times and discussed publishing projects, and expected to publish some of your books. I hope that the proposal I now make may have successful results and prove to our mutual advantage.
Yours faithfully, Lothian Papers, MS 6026, Box 17 - State Library of Victoria.
